CLASS SCHEDULE
FOR APRIL

MONDAYS - MARCH 29—APRIL 5, 12, 19, 26

Rumba

Novice/Intermediate

Taught by Devin Ryan - Mondays 7PM - 8PM

Get ready to turn up the heat Monday nights in this month’s Rumba class. Whether you are looking to brush up on steps you’ve previously learned or are looking to add some new elements to your repertoire, our novice/intermediate class is suited to fit your needs. As always, we will be covering pattern elements you can easily apply on the social dance floor and use them as a means of developing technical concepts that make partnering a breeze.

Argentine Tango 2

Basic

Taught by Karen Ma - Mondays 8PM - 9PM

This month we will build upon the basic principles of Argentine Tango covered in Tango 1. In each class we will focus on musicality, embrace, connection, and technique to give students confidence of movement and an understanding of the true essence of Argentine Tango. The elements we will cover include walking turns, giros/molinetes, and barridas, all while giving embellishments to leaders and followers as well as ending poses. I encourage any level to attend as even the most advanced dancer can benefit from the technique and embellishments we cover.

Hustle

Swing/Tandem Charleston and Lindy-Hop/Swing go hand in hand! Much like left & right Twix or cars and engines. This series we focus on Swing Charleston from the 30’s/40’s era and Tandem Charleston. You’ll also learn how to tie it into your swing so they complement each other.
