MONDAYS - ENDED

Get ready to channel the elegance and smooth nature of waltz in this month’s class. Whether you are looking to brush up on steps you’ve previously learned or are looking to add some new elements to your repertoire, our novice/intermediate class is suited to fit your needs. As always, we will be covering pattern elements you can easily apply on the social dance floor and use them as a means of developing technical concepts that make partnering a breeze.
Argentine Tango
Taught by Karen Ma - Mondays 8PM - 9PM
Are you ready to learn the basic principles that make Argentine Tango a truly unique form of dance? In each class we will focus on musicality, embrace, connection, and technique to give students confidence of movement and an understanding of the true essence of Argentine Tango. The elements we will cover include a basic 8, forward ochos, backward ochos, gauchos, and giros. We encourage any level to attend as even the most advanced dancer can benefit from the technique and embellishments we cover. Notebooks are highly recommended for this class.
TUESDAYS - MARCH 23
Hustle
Taught by Liz Gutzwiler - Tuesdays 7PM - 8PM
Hustle back in to “Strut” your stuff in this month’s novice/intermediate hustle class. We’ll be learning some cool variations with an emphasis on good connection and technique as they are key to communicating confidently with your partner on the dance floor. They are the foundation necessary to adding style and pizzazz to your dancing. Hustle basics are a pre-requisite.
Guided Hustle Practice
Taught by Kelly Palmiter - Tuesdays 8PM - 9PM
Now it’s time to bring those class moves to practice, so as to successfully integrate them into your regular hustle repertoire. Many students struggle with how to practice effectively, which makes this professionally assisted practice so valuable. It provides you with feedback specific to your particular needs and the repetition required to master your weaknesses. Practice is the secret to unleashing your inner swag on the social floor, and truly enjoying your dance in the moment.
